Abstract
This letter comments on MRI-fundus fusion for ocular proton therapy and argues that reported MRI limitations are largely protocol related rather than intrinsic to ocular MRI. The authors highlight missing contrast-enhanced imaging and long scan times prone to motion blur, and note that modern ocular MRI protocols can reveal clinically relevant tumor details not always visible on conventional fundus or ultrasound imaging.
