Abstract
In this reply, the authors acknowledge prior theoretical ray-tracing work and argue that understanding negative dysphotopsia requires patient-specific modeling. They emphasize incorporating individualized IOL position/design and retinal shape, supported by additional imaging such as MRI, to link clinical shadow complaints to optical simulations and improve prevention or treatment strategies.
