Recent meetings and outreach

Over the past two months, we shared our work in a range of scientific and clinical settings.
On January 30th, we participated in the ISMRM Benelux Meeting in Antwerp, where team members presented recent results and engaged in discussions with MRI researchers and colleagues.
In late March, we attended the National Ophthalmologists’ Congress (NOG) in Groningen. We presented, among others, the first results of our clipless ocular proton therapy workflow and Visisipy, an open‑source platform for visual optics simulations. Interactions with clinicians during the congress sparked several new collaboration ideas.
On March 20th, we hosted an informal meeting of Optiland contributors. This open‑source ray‑tracing project brought together researchers working across optics, from space telescopes to vision science, and the afternoon concluded with drinks in the spring sun.
Finally, we took part in the National Uveal Melanoma Patient Day organized by Stichting Melanoom, where we exchanged study results and discussed future directions with patients to further improve eye cancer care.
