Presentation of Visisipy

Today Corné launched Visisipy, our open source platform for vision simulations, at the Visual and Physiological Optics conference in Wroclaw, Polen. Visisipy has been developed as part of the OPENOPTICS project and aims to develop an open toolbox for optical simulations of the eye.

After Corné’s plenary demonstration of Visisipy, many attendants visited his ‘Tell and Show’-poster, where he convincingly showed how Visisipy can be used to improve their projects. His demo can be found here.

Tomorrow Jan-Willem will present our work on combining optical fundus images with MR-imaging data, a project which is also benefitting from Visisipy.
